Gorgeous flowers and thoughtful sons.
I love your beach pics. I adore the beach too & am lucky enough to live by the coast. When my mum lived on Anglesey I would be out for hours with my two & my nieces shrimping & scrabbling around on the rocks. Happy days.BadPennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09889591351222591488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-574491741304799325.post-60494140735275883052012-03-26T01:45:45.377+01:002012-03-26T01:45:45.377+01:00Mmmmmmm!! I love the sea, but never seem to get there, so it was so nice to see your photographs!
Hope you have a better week!
xxxKathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04672480673570800790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-574491741304799325.post-80860661181608477692012-03-25T11:49:01.615+01:002012-03-25T11:49:01.615+01:00I think there was something in the air this past w...I think there was something in the air this past week, I have had a bit of a rubbish one myself, from work people not understanding that I am basically doing the work of two people and cannot do EVERYTHING (even tho I am a woman lol)in the time I have. Also got abused in a disgusting way by a male, who I may add was in the wrong, yesterday in a car park. Also when I wake up I still feel tired....pooh!!! Seeing your daffs bought a little ray of sun here. Some people are quite rude, I think they need to put their brain into gear before their mouths.
Lets hope this week is a grand one :)
xx Sandisandiarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06395329327447746029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-574491741304799325.post-11245080315803981412012-03-25T11:27:40.347+01:002012-03-25T11:27:40.347+01:00I grew up in a small fishing town (pop about 300) ...I grew up in a small fishing town (pop about 300) so I absolutely get what you mean about the sea. I couldn't live inland at all, I need to be within a stone's throw of the water at all times.

You do know you can freeze cake don't you??? If you absolutely can't eat a whole one by yourself, then just cut it in half or quarters and freeze it. It makes a nice treat later on too when you can't be bothered baking, but are quite happy to defrost! I'm eating a chocolate cake at the moment. It is actually made with left over mashed potato and pumpkin and is really moist and delicious. I must make this one again.

It was a bit rude of the florist to comment on how much your sons were spending. She ought to be pleased they were buying anything at all from her. Daffodils are one of my mother's favourite flowers too and I always think about buying her some bulbs but I always leave it too late.

xXx HelenSweet Seahorsehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17688866517471969410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-574491741304799325.post-84952325979662122902012-03-25T10:19:05.431+01:002012-03-25T10:19:05.431+01:00Lovely photos as always! Quiet, peaceful beaches are the best.

I'm glad the sunshine and simple pleasures have helped to keep your spirits up this week. xxMichellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14491620286385649324noreply@blogger.com
