evening light...

Just a quick post tonight - I know we are a bit desperate for some decent rain (we live in the middle of rural farmland and it is soooo dry I know its causing some concern plus all those awful heath fires across the country) but I do love the fact that the later sunsets give us such lovely evenings with long shadows.

In my long flower bed the pink aquilegias (or columbines!) looked as though they had been put under the spotlight...

Hope you all have a lovely weekend, til next time

Sx

  1. Your garden is looking so pretty Sandra. I loved your pictures of lavenham too ....what a gorgeous spot .You made me smile with your comments about museums and graveyards . Mum took us round loads of Art galleries and Art supplies shops when we were kids:0)

  2. Beautiful! I do love aquilegias. We had some rain here in Yorkshire yesterday and a little overnight but we need a real downpour. My magnolia tree is parched and its leaves are turning brown :( xx
